Pace 49 Inc. was founded in 2004 as an extension of Pace Solutions based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Pace 49 through years of research in Canada and the USA, prides itself on providing growers solutions for disease control and prevention in every step of the growing process.

1983
It Began With a Dream of a Cleaner Future
Pace’s history began when William (Bill) Martin opened a chemical manufacturing operation in Burnaby, B.C. to service the Vancouver industrial boiler and water treatment business.
Almost 40 years later, Bill is still active as the Chairman of Pace’s Board.
1998
Pace Starts Horticulture Division
Using 15 years of experience in the water treatment and industrial cleaning industry, Pace initiates the Horticulture division introducing the Pace ACBD System (Always Clean Before Disinfecting) to provide affordable solutions for cleaning & disinfecting.
2004
Pace 49 (USA) is Founded
Pace 49 expands the Horticulture division to the US and Mexico, providing growers field-tested disinfectants and cleaning solutions.
2007
Adding to the Team
Judy McWhorter, Vice President, joined Pace 49 as the first USA sales representative for south central USA from Arizona to Florida.
2012
New President
Wes Martin succeeds his father as the new president/CEO. Pace now becomes a second-generation family operated company.
2016
Expanding the Business
The Pace 49 sales team has now grown to 5 full time territory managers and a large distribution network with over 20 major companies in the US, Puerto Rico and Mexico/Central America.
2020
Newest EPA Approval for KleenGrow
KleenGrow label received new approval by the EPA of 0-hr REI when using during chemigation, adding water treatment to the label.
2021
Company Rebrands
Pace 49 rebrands company as Pace Plant Health Advocates focusing on meeting the needs of growers to help achieve optimal plant health and sustainable growing for years to come.
2022
New Product and New Uses
Pace 49 introduces UpTake PRO, a registered pesticide adjuvant that provides growers a way to conserve
and take control of their water.
PACE Strip-It PRO Detergent Cleaner to remove mineral build-up and dirt from poly or glass greenhouse walls and roof.
Water:
Clean Water: PACE KleenGrow to control water borne pathogens and algae.*
Water Conservation: UpTake PRO reduces surface tension between water and plants/soils for more effective water.
Soil:
UpTake PRO break water/soil surface tension of hydrophobic soil, so water can easily penetrate and evenly disperse into soils for more effective irrigation.
*KleenGrow is not a registered algaecide in the state of California.
