” We have unusually high iron in our irrigation water. The drip system in our mum field starts experiencing clogs only 1 – 2 years into service. We ran a trial with STRIP-IT™ on some lines that had been in service for several years and had heavy iron deposits. To our amazement two applications at the recommended rates completely cleaned out the 1/2 inch header lines and loosened up much of what was in the emitters. “I find KleenGrow™ works well within our program. I would not start a crop without it. We are using the STRIP-IT™ and KleenGrow™ products from PACE 49 Inc. and find that they do a tremendous job in controlling post-planting fungal diseases as well as cleaning agents.

Our initial use was targeted for pre-plant cleaning of surfaces and greenhouses, and also as a deterrent for algae on floors and fiberglass walls. We found they do a great job as cleaners, but also KleenGrow™ does a good job as a fungicide and algaecide.

KleenGrow™ is a safe chemical, and can easily be applied as a drench, or as a spray. We use KleenGrow™ in our watering tunnels after planting and as a post planting drench to control fungal and algae issues. We use STRIP-IT™ as a salt build up remover on our cooling pads and watering systems. We clean every tool, floor, wall, and prep surface including our planting machine after each use, and at the end of every day. We find that STRIP-IT™ and KleenGrow™ are economical, long lasting, and effective. We schedule a cleaning of greenhouses after each large crop we plant. Mums and poinsettias are important crops for us, and we do not start without using STRIP-IT™ to clean first. I like the assurance that the houses are clean before each crop we grow.

Last year, we received poinsettia cuttings that were contaminated with fungal spores, and we were able to control it and stop it from spreading simply by drenching our crop with KleenGrow™ using our irrigation system. This year we are targeting aerial blight control on Vinca, using KleenGrow™ as a disinfectant for our ground cloth. We use sprinkler overhead irrigation, and we cannot avoid splashing fungal spores from the floor over to our crops. So far, KleenGrow™ is proving to be effective in reducing the spreading of aerial blight on Vinca.

I highly recommend it to anyone with structures that are hard to clean, or areas that are hard to get to. If you start clean, the crop stays clean. KleenGrow™ and STRIP-IT™ gets you there right from the start.”
