New KleenGrow™ label with reduced rates and improved REI

KleenGrow™ now has:

Reduced rates on most fungicide applications
0 hr REI on hard surface disinfection
0 hr REI on irrigation line applications

Pythium and Phytophthora are now controlled much more easily with applications of KleenGrow™ made through irrigation lines.

Dr. Ann Chase’s most recent research shows combining KleenGrow™ and other fungicides actually enhances the results of controlling Pythium.

Efficacy of fungicides on Pythium root rot on Geranium

Plants were inoculated with a culture of Pythium irregulare mixed with sterilized water. Conclusions: The degree of healthy new roots was significantly higher for plants treated with KleenGrow in combination with other fungicides actually enhances the results of controlling Pythium.

We are constantly striving toward label improvements that benefit our users, and we have ongoing research looking at new areas of use. Right now we are working with nurseries in Texas through Texas A & M, researching how few ppm of active ingredient in KleenGrow™ are required to control Pythium and Phytophthora in irrigation water. The first set of results indicates 10 ppm for complete control. We shall keep you posted on how the trial progresses.
